What have religions got to do to our life?
What have it done to influence people's thinking?
Some have their mind set (hard heads!) that the only teaching that is right always drop down to the religion that they have choose. Is it really all? Have god really written down what is going to happen from before till the end of time?
if the only teaching of god is right what have one done to achieve in life, other then follow blindly to what is written down by god.
as a free thinker I do agree that there is need of religion for some people as a guide but not as a stick to the blind (means following it blindly). Message should be interpret before agree (cause it wont apply to all), question it other then just receiving.
I found this message damn true, found from a movie call "save" (it is a Christian base movie, but the message it try to tell is damn fucking true).
"if god wanted every individual to act the same, why have he/she create every individual differently? He/she must wanted an individual to live life to the fullest, his/her saying is to guide so that us as his/her child wont get lost on the path of life"

I think that sometimes we misinterprete what christianity is all about. If i would categorise christianity, i would not put it as one of the religion. But a relationship with GOD.
You must understand that the main purpose of God to create us is not to entertain HIM, but to be His friend and companion. He wants us, his children to have a relaitonship with Him.
He would not want us to fail or lead a stray life so He gave us rules to follow. so that we would be able to live a good and meaningfull life...

yes but y give us rules? does its mean that he created us human with mind hoping us to use our mind, but then at the same time doube us that we will sin so he gave us rules?
They r right...coolblood, as I thought if all ppl hold a religion sincerely, they will know their obligation. At least ppl felt guilty when they 'd done wrong...
As long as you live in this world, you should be controlled by rules...don't you know because human being reluctant to obey God'rule ended there must have the judge and Lawyer....
well till the end it still depents on how us mankind work to think what we should be, but not shape by something that is not sure, guide yea.
